busy busy busy

Wow what a weekend! Amie's birthday, Winter Carnival AND Superbowl?!

Edward and I went to Cooperstown Friday night to celebrate Amie's birthday. It was so much fun. I was so excited to see all the girls, especially since I haven't seen any of them since my birthday celebration during Thanksgiving. The night consisted of a serious dance party at the bar, lots of shots, and hours of girl talk when we got back home. Poor Edward basically went out to the bar with five girls...he was a trooper though and even made a friend at the bar. :)

Saturday morning Edward and I spent a little time walking around Cooperstown and went to the Baseball Hall of Fame. I couldn't resist, it was four bucks for each of us to go...compared to the 16 it usually is. I haven't been there since I was 10, so I was excited to go. :) A little advice, the Hall of Fame is NOT the place to go when you're exhausted and hung over after spending the night before drinking enough alcohol to kill a horse. We survived though, went to a lasagna dinner with grandma and barely made it home before passing out and sleeping soundly for 12 hours.

Today we went to the Harlem Globetrotters, which has been something I've wanted to do since I was little. It was awesome, and I even got Edward to partake in a little clapping now and then. :) A huge thanks needs to be given to his step father, Joe, for getting us free tickets to the show. Obviously I would have spent the 100 dollars for the tickets because I wanted to go that bad, but it was nice being able to save that for oh I don't know the bar the night before. This video is off one of the mascots. The end of this dance had me laughing hysterically...hopefully it will put at least a smile on your face.

Then it was off to Edward's friends for the Super Bowl...which was REALLY short and the commercials were sub par compared to past years.

This post is going to be short because I'm exhausted after this weekend and need to rest up for the ridiculous week I have at school.

Next weekend is Valentine's Day PLUS a five day weekend. Party?! oh yes.

I'll end this post with some wishes for this week.

1. I wish I could have spent more time with the girls this weekend/see them more often
2. I wish we had been as lucky as my family in virginia with the snow. I want a snow storm...a serious snow storm, like cancel school and can't leave my house snow storm. Weather man please make this happen.
3. I wish I could find something fun for next weekend, seeing as I have five days off...mini vacation maybe?

peace and love
