this weeks review

One word for last week. GREAT and here's why

1. FINALLY finishing all of my finals. I am officially a senior in college, and honestly it took me long enough. this year has been tough in school and i'm so happy that i finally finished. 

2. Seeing my family last weekend. I spent the weekend in Philadelphia with the family for my sisters final regatta of the season. It was so fantastic to see everyone and definiltly cured the home sick feeling i've been having for about a month.

3. Berts Bees Wax. Everytime I see a display they never have the kind I like. Well last week I was in Hannaford wandering (ask anyone who shops with me I never know what i'm going in there for) and came across the display and thank god they finally had my chapstick. Of course I bought two just in case I have to go another obscenely long time without it. 

4. this video. i've watched at least twenty times and it still is hysterical. 

5. spending some time with friends, and celebrating birthdays. always fun

6. and last but certainly not least is the man who has my heart. I know it's mushy but this past week he has shown me more compasion and love than i could have ever wanted. 

**explanation for the gushy side of this blog[15 minutes before I was supposed to leave for Philly my transmission basically exploded. I called the parents and decided to rent a car, after a lot of calling around and just plain bullshitting I rented a car. I went to go pick it up and long story short I couldn't rent it because I had to use my credit card instead of my dads. Fast forward to me having a breakdown in the front seat of Mr.E's car and crying on the phone to my mom about how I'll have to stay home for mothers day and blah blah blah. Mr. E offers to drive me to philly that night (by this time it was about 4pm) and then drive back so that he could be with his family on mothers day. Is that not amazing or what? Aside from that he's just always thinking of me. Bringing me snacks at work when he knows i don't have my wallet, or picking up my favorite candy when i'm having a bad day. This man is always thinking of me, he never asks for anything in return and I know for certain he's not one of those 'presents for sex' guys. you know the kind, the ones who do sweet things because they're hoping to get lucky. He's just fantastic and has made this past week so much better. 
He's so great I'm thinking a date night is in order. My treat. We'll see what he thinks about that :)]
