thunder.

We had our first thunderstorm of the season here tonight. It was magical. There is something about the dark sky lighting up and being able to feel the loud claps of thunder that excites me. I am fascinated by them and can always be found sitting on my front porch during them.

Tonight was the same, I actually stood in my yard in the rain for a little bit just listening to the thunder. I couldn't see lightening right away but could feel that it was coming. The rest of the storm was spent on my front porch watching. It's a rush to watch a thunderstorm and a passion of mine. It's such a relaxing atmosphere, the thunder is so melodic and the flashes of lightening give you just enough surprise to keep you intrigued.

The first thunderstorm of the season means a new stage of life. Summer is quickly creeping up on me and so is my new life. I can't wait...rainy nights and sunny days are what I look forward to.
