rainy days

my brain is on overload. i've been making study guides for three days now, reading theories on communication for two and writing a research paper for one. right now i should be studying for the two tests i have tomorrow...but of course i'm not. instead i have opted to do some online wish shopping (putting things in my cart that i don't have the money for right now), kind of like those who are trying to quit smoking, they take an unlit cigarette and put it in their mouth, that's my wish shopping.

I'm sitting in e's room listening to the rain outside and the cars splashing through the puddles. Surrounded by the intoxicating smell if cigars :) it's a perfect lazy day. Unfortunately I have class in two hours. I think my brain has shut down...currently it's saying please stop attacking me with information, i need a break. My life needs a break...i need a week off from repsonsibilities so that I can take care of my current ones.

It's been raining for twenty four hours now. I love rain, but only quick rain showers, and only in the summer. Fall rain is no fun, so rain please go away.

do you ever catch yourself just looking at someone wondering how they came into your life. not the obvious answer, you met clicked and became friends, but the answer to the question why they came into your life. i have a tendency to do that and unfortunately it makes some people uncomfortable. Staring at someone has that affect on people, but I don't know how to explain why i'm staring, other than I like looking at people in my life because it reminds me how truly lucky I am to have those people in my life. I am more than lucky I have some pretty fantastic people in my life, and hopefully they all know how grateful I am to have them here.

fall has officially fallen upon us, I was driving around today and realized that fall has come and I couldn't be happier. fall is my favorite season, there is no season close to fall in my book. so as I get back to pretending i'm working on my study guides i'll leave you with a little list of my favorite parts of fall.

-the sound of leaves crunching under my feet
-yellow, orange and red
-the put on a scarf, grab a nice hot cup of tea weather
-pumpkins
-the smell
-my birthday
-turkey
-family
