grown up

november has quietly snuck up on me, which is hard to believe seeing as it involves quite a few special days in it. I woke up this morning and couldn't help but realize as i snuggled up to e trying to warm up, how quickly October went by. It feels like just a week ago I was saying "two months" until my birthday. (now i'm saying 24 days).

I celebrated halloween like a grown up this year. Popcorn, movies and him. Of course they were scary movies, and they were all pretty good which is surprising because we haven't had very good luck with the recommendations we've been receiving at the movie store. I am becoming a fan of Ghosthouse Underground movies, so far we've watched Seventh Moon and The Children. They were pretty good, we also watched Mirrors...which was alright. E loved it though.

The third movie we got was The Uninvited, which we only got to watch for about 3/4 of it and then it just stopped working. E said it looked like someone wiped it with nail polish remover. So we have to go there today and get a different copy. Hopefully the last quarter is worth the trouble :).

I made my first homemade costume this year. I was mickey mouse my friend was minnie mouse. Can I say how Martha Stewart I felt after finishing these costumes? Not to mention that we won best group costume :) :). I have no doubt that when I have children I'll be able to follow in my mom's footsteps and make my children's costumes. The first will be a pea in a pod...if I had a picture I'd put it up here...my mom made me that costume when I was younger and I think it's the cutest thing ever.

I had a dream that I had a motorcycle...and it followed me through multiple dreams. Possibility for the future?? Probably not, I can barely walk without tripping I can't imagine me trying to balance on a motorized bike.

It's Sunday and that means football. So i'm off to cheer on my boys. and listen to E yell at the screen while he watches his.
